EVSX: BATTERY RECYCLING

URBAN MINING: CLOSING THE LOOP

About EVSX

CRITICAL MINERALS FROM USED BATTERIES

EVSX Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of St-Georges Eco-Mining, develops closed-looped solutions to extract all of the value of used domestic, commercial and electric vehicles (EV) batteries. We have developed processes that allow us to target niche battery chemistries in a profitable way.

Battery Recycling

EVSX works with a multitude of battery chemistries, including nickel-cadmium, alkaline, lithium-iron-phosphate, lithium-ion, and electric vehicle batteries, with an up to 98% recovery rate.

Value-added By-products

In addition to recovering critical minerals, EVSX by-products include fertilizers, lithium hydroxide, carbon briquettes, and high-grade alumina. Development is underway for ferromanganese.

Innovative Facilities

EVSX facilities are modular in nature resulting in rapid scalability and lower CAPEX. Locations are chosen for their access to transportation links and the ability to facilitate symbiotic relationships.

Québec

Nickel Center of Excellence

EVSX, in collaboration with St-Georges Metallurgy, plans to establish its Nickel Center of Excellence in Baie-Comeau on Québec’s North Shore. Domestic, commercial, and electric vehicle (EV) batteries with high nickel content will be dismantled to produce black mass, ultimately transforming into nickel ingots. In the future, EVSX expects to process nickel concentrate sourced from mines.

Ontario

Lithium Center of Excellence

EVSX’s planned Lithium Center of Excellence is in the Bioveld Multimodal Hub in Thorold, in the Niagara region. This battery processing center will process alkaline batteries and all lithium-dominant types and chemistries. The industrial circuits are being manufactured to run feedstock from mines alongside batteries and lithium-ion blackmass feedstock.
